- Account Registration Information: Email address (required), First/Last name, Profile photo, Phone number (optional, for contact).
- Profile Information: Region/location, User preferences, Verification status.
- Listing Information: Item titles, descriptions, images/videos, estimated value, looking-for preferences.
- Communication Information: Messages, exchange proposals, negotiations, support requests.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use SISA, we automatically collect:
- Technical Information: Device type, OS, App version, Device identifiers, Push notification tokens.
- Usage Information: Features accessed, exchange history, search queries, filter preferences.
- Location Information: Region selection, geographic coordinates (GeoJSON) for listings.
1.3 Information from Third Parties
We may receive information from Google (sign-in), authentication providers, and analytics services.
2. How We Use Your Information
2.1 Core Service Delivery
We use your information to manage accounts, verify identity, facilitate trades, display listings, and enable messaging/notifications.
2.2 App Improvement
Analyzing usage patterns, debugging issues, and developing new features to enhance user experience.
2.3 Security and Fraud Prevention
Detecting unauthorized access, preventing fraud, and protecting the security of our platform.
3. Information Sharing
Certain information is visible to other users, such as your profile, region, listings, and reputation score.
We share information with service providers (AWS, Better Auth, Expo) only as necessary to provide our services. We may also disclose data to comply with legal requirements in Ghana.

Your information is stored on secure servers with encryption in transit and at rest. We retain data as long as your account is active or as required by law.

You have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information. You can also manage notification and location preferences in the app settings.

SISA is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
